Play-to-earn RPG game CryptoBlades has joined the recently launched Efinity, the next-gen blockchain developed by Enjin. A hundred other games and dApps (decentralized applications) are also coming, with the goal of scaling their Web3 projects.

For CryptoBlades, coming to Efinity would mean developing a better gaming experience for its 1.1 million players.

CryptoBlades and Its Web3 Future

CryptoBlades is a play-to-earn (P2E) blockchain game. On its welcome page, it invites you to “become the most powerful blade wielder in the blockchain.” The game also allows you to forge powerful weapon NFTs, which you can then use to defeat enemies.

Moreover, CrytoBlades has an NFT marketplace, so you can choose to trade your NFT weapons instead.

Developed by Riveted Games studio, CryptoBlades originally lived on the Binance Smart Chain. Soon, it became the first blockchain game to run on many different mainnet networks. These include Avalanche, OEC, HECO, and Polygon.

CryptoBrades x Efinity

By coming to Efinity, CryptoBlades will soon be able to improve its NFT gaming experience.

“Efinity will bring immediate value to users with native support for NFTs and a full suite of NFT gaming utilities developed by Enjin,” says Phillip Devine, CEO of CryptoBlades.

“Along with our play-to-earn title CryptoBlades, we are excited to make our NFT bridging, curated marketplace, and launchpad available via Efinity,” he continues.

CryptoBlades’ teaser video

Last year, we’ve dubbed CryptoBlades as among the 5 best NFT games of 2021. With its move to Efinity, this RPG is set to make NFT gaming easier for the masses.

For example, gas fees had always bothered aspiring NFT gamers. This year, we’re seeing more and more eco-friendly blockchain solutions with much cheaper fees. Among these anticipated solutions is Efinity.

What is Efinity?

Efinity dubs itself as the “eco-friendly NFT superhighway.” That means it allows creators to mint up to 2,200 tokens to unique wallets per transaction. So, it’s useful for game creators who want to go all-out on their NFT gaming features.

Acting as a parachain to Polkadot, Efiinity aims to become the home of all NFTs.

Baek Kim of Hashed says “Efinity will provide an opportunity for creators to mint multi-chain tokens and move them to other compatible blockchains hassle-free.”

The freshly launched blockchain technology will help make NFT transfers faster and cheaper. It will also be easier for game devs to create new tokens, and for NFT investors to buy new game-related NFTs.

Other Games and dApps Coming to Efinity

Because of Efinity’s promise, about 100 other games and dApps are coming to the NFT superhighway. Some of these are Lost Relics and Age of Rust, both of which are blockchain games.

Even PlayNFT, the Twitch plugin, is also coming on board. Twitch, the popular game streaming platform, will soon be able to give creators and streamers the chance to reward their viewers with NFTs.

Other metaverse companies joining Efinity are Division Network, SwissBorg, and MyMetaverse. We’re excited to see how CryptoBlades and all these dApps and games will make the best use of Efinity.
