If you are a football enthusiast then, you will love this game. Sorare is a football-based free-to-play NFT mobile game that allows football lovers to express their passion.

In the game, players collect and trade collectible digital cards of their favorite players. The cards come in various categories like limited, rare, super rare, and unique. The value of the cards depends on the category they belong to and the player they bear.

You have the option of purchasing your favorite players’ cards from 215 clubs in various leagues around the world to create a team of five players. And then this team of five players gets to participate in various tournaments. And Sorare has several of them.

In a tournament, players in your team are awarded points based on their actual performance. So, the performance of the five players for their clubs determines how well your team performs in the tournament. This is why you need to be enthusiastic about football to excel in the game because the key to scoring high in the tournament is to have cards of skillful players in your team.

If your team has the best players in the world, you would win tournaments. But to assemble such, you have to make some purchases. The best team is the one that finishes the game with the most points.

The cards in Sorare are NFTs, and you can trade them in-game or on secondary exchanges for profit.

If you have played Axie Infinity or know about the game, then Splinterlands won’t be a tough call for you. It is a free-to-play card-based NFT game that involves leading monsters to battle just like Axie Infinity.

However, there are some differences in gameplay between the two games. The primary difference though, is that Splinterlands gives you the mobile option. Plus, it does not require financial commitment like Axie infinity.

The game matches players with similar rankings to battle and the winner earns more sets of cards. You have two cards to fight with, the summoners and the monsters. The summoners harness magical powers from the six primal forces (fire, water, earth, life, death, and dragon) to summon the monsters.

If you want to acquire more potent cards, you can do that by purchasing booster packs or by buying from fellow players on the marketplace. There are cards with better stats but you unlock them by winning matches, daily quests, or seasonal rewards.

How do you earn money from this game? You can trade the cards in the game as NFTs on secondary markets.

5. Chainmonsters

Chainmonsters is a multiplayer, online Role Play Game (RPG) that allows you to join your friends on an epic journey. In this journey, you complete quests and explore dungeons with your pals as you earn tokens for your accomplishments.

The game allows you to catch, battle, trade, explore, and combine different types of monsters. Plus, you also get the ability to create your style of play.

In a way, you could say EpicHero is the Safemoon of NFT games as it distributes reflections to holders. So you don’t just earn from playing the game, you also earn reflections from holding the NFT.

7. Coin Hunt World

The objective of Coin Hunt World is to hunt for free coins. Coin Hunt World is a geolocation game where you explore neighborhoods to find hidden vaults with small amounts of cryptocurrency. The players discover keys and unlock rewards in the course of the game.

You can play Coin Hunt World individually or with a team.

8. Battle Racing Stars

Battle Racing Stars is a racing game, involving battle-styled racing. Your goal as a player is simply to be the first to cross the finish line.

But there’s a twist. Players get to battle each other on their way to the finish line to slow their competitors down. So, it’s not just straightforward, vanilla racing. If you love the rush of battle games and racing, this is a game you want to get on.

That said, Battle Racing Stars has free multiplayer races that you can start with to earn points.

The runners in the game have various skills and abilities. Plus, they exist as NFTs, which means that you can trade them on secondary exchanges for crypto. But here’s the best part, you get to customize your favorite runners!

9. Crop Bytes

If you love farming, then this game will interest you. Crop Bytes is a business game based on real-world farming. In Crop Bytes, you get to own and manage your very own farm. So, you plant and tend crops, feed, and care for your animals.

Now, to begin the game, you are allocated a piece of land to farm along with some assets to build your farm to get maximum yield. To do this, you have to buy the best seeds and care for the farm till harvesting. The produce harvested can then be used to make food for your animals or sold for returns.

Crop Bytes allows in-game trading of assets. That is, you can sell your assets to another player who needs them. Also, extracts from your animals such as milk, wool, eggs, truffles, etc. are converted to the game’s native coin (CBX). And that’s how you can earn from the game.

10. Spells of Genesis

Spells of Genesis was one of the first free-to-play mobile NFT games. The game combines the functionalities of a trading card game and the point-and-shoot aspect of arcade games.

Your team consists of a deck of four cards required to play the game. And each card contains special abilities such as spells that enable you to battle and defeat your enemies.

You progress on the Askian map by playing (and winning) different campaigns. Each campaign consists of 7 stars, with each star containing 3-5 levels. Completion of one star unlocks the next campaign. And each campaign contains between one and two bonuses which you can use to boost your card.

Currently, there are 30 campaigns and over 700 levels. But here’s an interesting aspect to the game: every fifth campaign in the game is known as the Boss campaign. This campaign has only one level per star. And as you can probably tell from its name, it’s more exciting than other levels. You’d need a certain amount of stars to be able to unlock the Boss level.

The game has two modes

  • Raid mode is the PvP mode where you play with other players. The game matches you automatically to play against players from the same PvP rank.
  • Challenge mode is an infinite mode where the goal is to last as long as possible.

The game has daily quests that you complete to win gold. There is also a monthly leaderboard. The top forty players in the monthly leaderboard get blockchain cards and in-game rewards.

Wrapping Up

Now, before we call it a day, here’s an important caveat. Although the games on this list are free to play, what they offer is free entry only. To progress and get to higher levels where you can earn a higher income, you will need to purchase some in-game assets.

But the good thing is that you can earn enough to make these purchases by playing at the free level for a short while. So, these free-to-play mobile NFT games allow you to build a source of income from nothing, which is quite exciting.

Let me know which of these games excite you the most in the comments below and I’ll catch you in the next article!
