Lunacia is one of the most anticipated Axie Infinity releases of 2022. The creators have not said when exactly this game will be launched. However, from the project’s whitepaper, we should be looking at the second half of 2022.

Basically, Lunacia is a map editor that will enable players to create their own games and other kinds of experiences using Axie Infinity art assets. After creating with Lunacia, the game you make will be saved as an NFT, which you can then trade.

So, developers are very likely going to make a decent side income through Axie Infinity’s Lunacia initiative.

The idea for Lunacia is truly revolutionary. The Axie Infinity team is leveraging the power of user-generated content to build a gaming metaverse that will own the market in a short time.

As the team explains in its whitepaper, as the Axie Infinity community grows, one team alone will not be sufficient to create all the content that will keep users happy and engaged. This is where user-generated content comes in.

Release

The game is already live and had limited play abilities.

Faction selection is enabled. Faction locations determine your strategic advantages based on the crafting potential of nearby raw materials. You may enlist with additional factions through passports. Your earnings help your faction’s overall leaderboard rank.

The marketplace and inventory are live, where you can buy, trade, and sell nft items. You may choose to utilize your assets in pursuit of a career in space or simply as a trader of rare space goods.

The leaderboards are active as well. Leaderboards rank players, organizations and factions based on their accumulated wealth. Earn medals to display on your avatar if you place top three in any of these ladders.
